Selling a Mercedes that's done private hire
E-Class and S-Class cars do a lot of chauffeur and private hire work in London. If yours has, tell us, along with any livery or equipment still fitted. We buy them regularly and it's better to know up front.
What we'll ask about
- Trim. AMG Line is usually the most wanted on mainstream models.
- Service history. A complete run of Service A and Service B stamps or digital records is a big plus.
- Warning lights. On diesels, mention any AdBlue or DPF messages. Topping up the AdBlue before we arrive avoids a warning on the day.
- Suspension. If your car has air suspension, tell us whether it sits level and shows no warnings.

Before collection
Unlink the car from your Mercedes me account and reset the MBUX system to clear saved addresses, contacts and voice profiles. If you bought a ServiceCare plan or extended warranty, check whether it transfers. On plug-in hybrids and EQ models, include the charging cables.
